Oh no....

 

...guess who isn't feeling well? Yep, my Emma. Snotty, drippy nose, raspy voice, and of course, not the happiest toddler on the block. I can tell that she feels rotten by just looking into her eyes; the spark of mischief that is usually in her dark eyes is gone, and what remains is a little girl who wants to be cuddled. Everything while being sick makes her cry-everything. It's been a challenge to try and figure out why she's upset but i think she's just upset because she feels so dang rotten.

Emma isn't a cuddler. Well, i guess i should say that Emma does cuddle, but just on her own terms. She cuddles when she wants to. And she gives kisses when she wants to. I, the smart Mommy that i am, have figured a way around this: if she wants something, i make her kiss me, lol. Emma will giggle and give me the quickest of kisses so it's worth being a little sneaky. Hopefully, i am not scarring her for life by doing this!

So, while Emma being sick is rotten, it's nice to have her cuddle so much with me.

I do hope that she feel much better tomorrow....
