Sorting photos....

I am behind in my printing of photos for Emma's photo albums. I told myself that i wouldn't get behind, but of course, i am. So, i have catch up work to do....i did finally find some cute photo albums that were "kid friendly" as i want her to be able to look through the photo albums without my worrying about messing up the photos or the album. These are 'her' photos and i want her to be able to see how she's grown~they will also be hers to keep and take with her when she's ready to move on her own. I want her to have a record of the happy baby and toddler she is and the little girl and beautiful young woman she'll grow to be. I was worried about what kind of photo album to put them in, though. Most of the ones i found were beautiful but they were grown-up photo albums. Like the beautiful Italian leather photo albums i found for $130 a piece. Thankfully, i found some cute photo albums that are really kid-like at my favorite store (Target, of course!) and bought 5 of them. That should keep me busy....but i'm REALLY far behind. I had no idea that i took so many photos and that i would want to print so many of them. Most are done in a 'series' at different months but there are those photos that are random. Poor Emma is going to hate having her photo taken by the time she's five, lol...

Emma's last day at Mother's Day Out for Summer is tomorrow. I'm going to bring breakfast for the teachers-they really are a wonderful bunch of women. I especially like Ms. Cindy who is Emma's teacher-it's so cute to see Emma smile shyly at her when she sees her! I'm thankful that i felt so comfortable so quickly with the teachers...it made Mother's Day Out a huge success for me, too. She'll be going back in the fall to the same program; i think that program and just getting to play with other children has been a huge blessing. Of course, just her playing without my hovering over her was probably the very best thing for her!
